On Tuesday 17th November 2015, St Mary Magdalene’s had the great privilege of holding Keith Tomlinson’s funeral. It was a fitting send off, which saw the church full and many memories shared. Fr Rob led the service and spoke about how lost loved ones are not only alive in our memories or their earthly legacy, but eternally – even though we have no way of knowing what that may entail this side of the veil. All we do know is that all the good, kindness and love a person shares on earth is brought together at their death and that is how we shall meet them in heaven.
The Church continues to pray for all those who are mourning his loss, especially Linda, Neil, Nigel and all Keith’s close family and friends.
It will continue to pray for Keith in its services over the coming weeks:
Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.
May he rest in peace, and rise in glory! Amen.
